·      Lisa Maloff has written another check to Tahoe Youth & Family Services; this time for $150,000.

·      Pipe Keepers is a citizen science program to address the threat of storm water pollution entering Lake Tahoe. League to Save Lake Tahoe staff will train people for free on Feb. 15 from 3:30-5:30pm to survey local neighborhoods during rain and snowmelt events. For more info, email protect@keeptahoeblue.org.

·      Caltrans on Feb. 15 from 6:30-7:30pm is hosting a workshop regarding the Highway 50 interchange project at Ponderosa and South Shingle Springs. The meeting will be at the El Dorado County Planning Commission hearing room, 2850 Fairlane Court, Building C, Placerville.

·      The Carson Valley Museum & Cultural Center last weekend opened an exhibit dedicated to Lake Tahoe.
