Crews search for vehicles in Mt. Rose Hwy. avalanche

Trooper Matt McLaughlin of the Nevada Highway Patrol said one car was caught in the edge of the slide on Thursday, but the single occupant of the vehicle was able to escape.
But ski patrol from Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe is currently searching for a second vehicle that they suspect may have been also caught in the avalanche. But it’s still unknown if there is a second car underneath the snow.
