·      The Douglas County Public Library will be hosting Lake Tahoe author Jennifer Quashnick at both branches. She will be at Zephyr Cove on April 18 at 6pm to introduce her Mountaingirl Mysteries series. She will then bring the discussion to the Minden branch on May 30 at 5:30pm.

·      The Truckee Elementary School upgrade project groundbreaking ceremony will be May 2 at 4pm.

·      The Kings Beach Elementary School upgrade project groundbreaking will be June 5 at 4:30pm.
