South Lake Tahoe public safety agencies will be participating in National Night Out on Aug. 7 from 4-8pm at Regan Beach located at 3199 Sacramento Ave.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.

In South Lake Tahoe, National Night Out is a partnership between El Dorado County, El Dorado County Sheriff’s Department, California Highway Patrol, South Lake Tahoe Police Department, South Lake Tahoe Fire Rescue, Barton Health, California Conservation Corps and South Tahoe Action Teams.
