Special Olympics Nevada, local law enforcement agencies, and Applebee’s Restaurants are teaming up to raise money for the nonprofit through tip-a-cop.

Officers will trade their handcuffs and badges for aprons and menus this month at Applebee’s in the region.

Special Olympics Nevada is a free year-round sports training and competition program for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
