A woman’s body was found by a creek in El Dorado County on May 17.

An autopsy revealed no signs of foul play or trauma, according to the sheriff’s department. The identity of the woman, who is white and believed to be between 60 and 70 years old, is not known.

Teens walking near Weber Creek in Placerville discovered the body in vegetation. It appeared the body had been there for some time, deputies said.
