South Lake Tahoe Friends of the Library is putting on two events in June.

The first is June 23. Wildflower photographer Roger Rosenberger will present The Many Faces of Beauty. He will explore the many ways Mother Nature pleases the senses with her beauty. Rosenberger will look at more than wildflowers, exploring several other mediums of  natural beauty.

On June 30 author Cindy Sample will discuss her award-winning and national bestselling Laurel McKay humorous mystery series which is set in El Dorado County. “Sample’s series has been described as the perfect blend of intrigue, humor and romance. She will discuss her pothole-filled path to publication and also focus on her latest release, Dying for a Dude”. A Q & A and book sale will follow the talk.

Both events are free and start at 6pm. The library is at 1000 Rufus Allen Blvd., South Lake Tahoe.

Our SLT Friends of the Library continues to provide our community with such diverse and interesting presentations.

    Here is where people,
    One frequently finds,
    Lower their voices
    And raise their minds.
