Brown wants to keep oil in the ground

Even the greenest, most eco-friendly politicians rarely utter the words Gov. Jerry Brown spoke at the Vatican’s climate change symposium last week.

To prevent the worst effects of global warming, one-third of the world’s known oil reserves must remain in the ground, Brown told the gathering of government officials from around the world. The same goes for 50 percent of natural gas reserves and 90 percent of coal.

“Now that is a revolution,” Brown said. “That is going to take a call to arms.”

It’s an idea widely embraced among environmentalists and climate scientists.

    Where is the real science behind shady numbers? It is easy to say such things but with no plan or many alternatives it is just a bunch of words.

    Didn’t the Governor have to fly a private jet over to see the Pope and another one to make this speech? Maybe it was a solar jet or a wind driven plane.

    Considering California is the fourth largest oil producing state in America and the state makes big bucks in taxes revenue off of it. In in this case Brown is talking out of both sides of his mouth.

    As for fracking the histeria over it is being pumped out by people like wealth New York Socialites “Known collectivly as the creative class such as the Post Foundation “Owners of the Huffinton post, New Yorker and Rolling Stone Magazine” and has the same truth as Santa Clause and the tooth fary. Its called Progressive Science where the truth is what ever you are told and deamed up by their writers and reality gets hidden in the sell.
