Youngster injured in Zephyr Cove crash

A South Lake Tahoe man was arrested July 28 following an accident in Zephyr Cove that injured a 9-year-old girl.

Jody Campos, 46, is accused of driving under the influence.

The head-on crash occurred Tuesday about 11:40am on Highway 50 near the Presbyterian center driveway.

Calstar airlifted the youngster to Renown Medical Center in Reno.

Further details about the accident were not immediately available.

    Same spot, about a month ago, a motorcyclist died in the same area at the entrance of this church right at Zephyr Heights. Who has to die before they fix this? I figure a judge or someone “important” has to die or be mamed for anyone to address this or does this just keep Douglas County some job security? Just wondering…..
