Chili cooks to square off in South Lake Tahoe

The 4th annual Fall Festival and Chili Cook Off is Sept. 12 from 10am-4pm at the South Lake Tahoe Recreation Complex on Rufus Allen Boulevard.

Admission is free. There will be free games and prizes for the kids, and a free door prize ticket for all attendees. Several local nonprofit organizations and public safety entities, South Lake Tahoe Cancer League, Clean Tahoe, Lake Tahoe Humane Society,Tahoe Coalition for the Homeless, K-9 and SWAT Associations, and Christmas Cheer were given free space to promote their services to the public.

Those who bring a non-perishable food item for Christmas Cheer will receive an extra door prize ticket. South Tahoe Refuse has also donated a silent auction item, which includes the use of a dumpster. This item will be dedicated to raising money for the South lake Tahoe Cancer League at this event.

    Chili Cook Off!!! Now we’re talkin’! Get to the South Lake Tahoe Recreation Building on Rufus Allen for some good locally made food as well as a bunch of other neat thimgs that will be available.
    Starts at 10 am and goes till 4pm. See you there! Old Long Skiis.
