After four years of relentless drought, more Californians are worried about water shortages than ever, despite El Niño conditions in the Pacific Ocean that are boosting hopes for a wet winter.

A Field Poll released Tuesday showed that 76 percent of registered California voters now call the state’s water situation “extremely serious,” up from 66 percent in May and 60 percent in April 2014.

During one of the state’s other historic droughts, in 1977, when rainfall totals were similarly low, just 51 percent called the situation “extremely serious,” although that drought only lasted two years.

With the current lunatic fringe in state government, the drought isn’t a priority. The naming of sports teams is and other liberal emotional tripe along with new attacks on the 1st and 2nd Amendments. The real problems, like too many illegally in the state using the resources, driving, voting, and depressing wages and eliminating jobs, will continue to grow until the resources are gone and the welfare state grows until the means to support it, the taxpayers, have left. The liberals will just ban any future droughts and say they have solved it.

Today it is reported Senile Jerry signed a bill allowing those in the state and country illegally to have drug diversion instead of facing deportation, so get out your checkbook and pay another few billion. I hope the bill banning future droughts is signed next so the liberal lunacy can continue.

Justn@ss. Only you and your Reich Wing Meth Head delusions would bring up “illegals” again on an Article about The Drought; lunacy indeed… in your mirror.

Ok. Jerry Brown VETOED SB 1351 that would have allowed Immigrants to plead not guilty and enter drug rehab.

Jerry Brown Signed SB 1352 which allows Immigrants the chance to complete rehab and withdraw their guilty pleas.

Nature boy.. Are you like 20 or something? Just curious because your commend of the liberal party policies and their effects on the nanny state appears to be remedial at best.

Diatribe that continually misses or diverts the POINT (read the title again): the shifting climate, extended droughts that affect the safety of our water supply, & an increasing need to finally pay attention, has now reached 3 out of 4 of the population. . .

More sincere thoughts may now emerge, along with vitally purposeful practices of conservation…Amen ! (so be it !)
