drug deal gone bad.
Oh yeah, must’ve needed it real bad to fire a gun into an empty car on Emerald Bay Blvd.! Good thing this nut is off the streets.
Ex felon in possession of a gun. Shocking.
The South shore maggot infestation continues.
Three hots and a cot. Probably a tv and shower, do they also get their laundry done? who knows what else…jail too these people is like a luxury hotel and it’s FREE.
Put these felons/petty thieves, and the dregs of society to WORK.

So…what to do if sending lawbreakers to jail/prison is ineffective, or worse, sending them to ‘criminal college’ to learn even more anti=societal behaviors?
This discussion is going to lead to some VERY ugly truths about our culture….
WORK WORK WORK…that’s what wrong the majority of these people. They need to work. All day long, everyday.
Why is the taxpayer paying for pot-holes, bridges, etc??
WORK WORKS…it’s a lot more effective than anything else, keep them busy doing hard work.
Robin….think it through. I’m not saying ‘no’, I’m saying there’s more to it than say, chain gangs.
Hmmm….I have worked for DOJ in half-way houses and my credentials are in Special Ed…
You are right…THERE IS ALOT MORE TO IT…but this posting space is too limited.
Not to mention all the corruption that EVERY facet of our lives is impacted by, it is as you point out very complicated.
I think WORK is a good place to start
I agree, for the most part…though economic incentives to not even go down that path(i.e. meaningful work for a living wage) should be looked at as a way of addressing the disgustingly embarrassing truth that we as a nation incarcerate more people, both as a percentage of the population and in total amount than any other country on Earth.
Maybe if people stop screwing up they wouldn’t be in jail. It’s pretty easy to just follow the laws.
