Reno could see the largest crowd of holiday visitors since the recession with the local airport wrangling in a high number of travelers comparable to that of Burning Man, an airport spokesman said Wednesday.
The Reno-Tahoe Airport expects to see more than 12,000 travelers through Jan. 3, spokesman Brian Kulpin said. That means full seats in and out of the airport, he said.
“It looks fantastic,” Kulpin said. “We are looking at terrific numbers this holiday season, probably the best numbers we’ve seen in six to seven years.”
