Larry King’s “In View” segment about Lake Tahoe Unified School District has been released.

The school board last year agreed to spend $27,900 on the venture.

Besides being aired on national television, the district will be left with professional footage that it may use in other venues as a marketing component.

    When will it be aired?

WOW… I’m impressed! I did not realize our high school was so well equipped and so diverse in subject matter. Congratulations to all who made this happen. This film clip should be shown as a recruitment tool for high-tech business to locate satellite offices in SLT.

Our LTUSD and LTCC are outstanding institutions, with an amazing range of programs. South Lake Tahoe is a wonderful place to live and raise a family because of these two districts and the many recreational opportunities we have at Lake Tahoe.

Where else can you take a few runs in the morning and be back in your home office by 11?

It is also a great place for the active retired person to live.

The Chamber of Commerce & City should get together and recruit new residents to move to SLT using these elements as the draw. We need young stable families to improve our community and business climate.

Maybe the only negative for some people not to move here is the lack of great broadband internet service.

Les…if it were only as simple as all that.

It’s a much more complicated. Not a unitary phenomenon.

The powers that be keep trying to mould Lake Tahoe into a year round ‘active retirement’, ‘child rearing’ community.

It may come someday but not in your lifetime.
