An executive for Tesla Motors is calling on the Public Utilities Commission of Nevada to reconsider a decision that increased the fixed service fee solar customers pay NV Energy.

Tesla’s statement comes at a sensitive time, with the three-member regulatory commission scheduled on Friday to revisit a controversial decision to increase bills for solar customers.

Funny how it’s a coincidence that Brian Sandoval happened to pick two guys from NV energy for the state PUC. So the watchdog agency is actually being run by the people who they are supposed to be watching. Nevada should be the leader in Solar power, instead Sandoval and his cronies at the PUC are literally killing the industry in Nevada.
This is the same Governor who was re-elected on no new state taxes for education, which was then passed on to local governments to raise taxes under his approval. You would think that with education constantly ranking at the bottom, the powers that be would want to reverse that trend, not in Nevada.

My bet is on Elon Musk over Warren Buffett by a TKO in the 2nd round. Elon is bringing hundreds of jobs to Nevada, what does Warren bring besides realtors?

Warren will be dead and gone soon and if Sandoval takes his side Tesla could decide to find a sunnier climate. Like New Mexico, Arizona, or Texas.
