Crews rescue couple stuck near Castle Peak

Search and rescue crews on Monday rescued a couple who became stranded in rural back country near Castle Peak, according to California Highway Patrol.
The Nevada County Sheriff’s Office asked CHP Helicopter 20 to perform a search and rescue at about 4:30pm March 14, CHP said in a statement.
A couple had called 911 for help near Castle Peak north of Interstate 80.
