The calendar says spring so that means it is going to snow in Tahoe.

Winds are expected to increase today as the storm moves in. Rain will precede the white stuff, with snow levels starting today above 8,000 feet.

More rain and snow in the basin is expected Monday and into the night. According to the National Weather Service in Reno, the heaviest snow will be March 21 between 4 and 8pm. A chance of snow will linger into Tuesday
