United Blood Services Nevada is asking for donations to replenish its inventory after sending blood to Orlando.

Units of blood in Orlando have been depleted in the wake of the worst mass shooting in U.S. history. On top of that, federal law prohibits men who have had sex with another man in the past 12 months from donating blood.

Forty-nine people died Sunday at a gay nightclub in Florida and 53 more were wounded by a lone gunman.
