Phoebe

Phoebe

Phoebe is a 2-year-old terrier mix who came to the shelter from a hoarding situation. She came with three other dogs, probably related to her, who look like terrier-pugs, or possibly Affenpinscher mixes.

She is a cute dog who will need a patient owner to help her see that people aren’t scary. She likes the officers at the shelter, but runs away from most others. Phoebe and the others are crate trained, but will need help with house training.

Phoebe is spayed, microchipped, tested for heart worm, and vaccinated. She is at the El Dorado County Animal Services shelter in Meyers, along with many other dogs and cats who are waiting for their new homes. Go to the Tahoe animal shelter’s Facebook page to see photos and descriptions of all pets at the shelter.

Call 530.573.7925 for directions, hours, and other information on adopting a pet. For spay-neuter assistance for South Tahoe residents, go online.
