Jesse Wells

A fugitive wanted in the killing of a pot farmer in Mendocino County was arrested in South Lake Tahoe on Friday afternoon.

Jesse Cole Wells, 32, was found living on Conestoga Avenue. He is originally from New York.

Wells is one of eight suspects in the Nov. 11 killing of 35-year-old Jeffrey Quinn Settler.

He was arrested without incident at 4:15pm Feb. 24.
