Tahoe Tails — Adoptable Pets in South Lake Tahoe

Mac

Mac is a sweet happy 3-year-old boy who has been at the shelter for almost six weeks. He is a lot of fun and has good manners, but he is starting to become barky after being in the shelter for so long.

He does well with most other dogs and has lived with cats. He loves to have his tummy tickled. Mac was found abandoned, tied to a tree with Bowie the cat, who has been adopted. His adoption fee has been partially paid.

Mac is neutered, microchipped, tested for heart worm, and vaccinated. He is at the El Dorado County Animal Services shelter in Meyers, along with many other dogs and cats who are waiting for their new homes. Go to the Tahoe animal shelter’s Facebook page to see photos and descriptions of all pets at the shelter.

There have been only two adoptions in the past three weeks, please share the pet information with anyone who is looking for a new friend.

Call 530.573.7925 for directions, hours, and other information on adopting a pet.

For spay-neuter assistance for South Tahoe residents, go online.

Mac looks like he would be a good a good friend, very ACTIVE!
Someone who likes to hike and run should have this boy so as not to be up in the mountains alone is always good to have a friend out in the wild!
