Unlike some of his congressional colleagues, the Elk Grove Republican, whose district is nowhere near Elk Grove, is game enough to continue presiding over town hall meetings where he is the piñata.

But instead of candy pouring out of McClintock when his constituents hit him – with tough questions and heartbreaking testimonials – intolerance pours out of him instead.

Nice hit piece Mr. Marcos. You are pretty scary yourself with your lack of journalistic integrity.
Marcos, there is a rumor that you graduated from the Josef Goebbels School of Journalism with honors.
Could you please corrected this aspersion on your credibility.
Attack dogs as propagandists are still attack dogs.
Where do you fit in Mr. Marcos?

The first 4 paragraphs of the article contain several good reasons why we should have a much better representative in Congress than Tom McClintock (in fact it is hard to imagine anyone worse). But yet, sadly, the voters in our district still keep re-electing him.

Sadly, apparently, the voters in your district still have no choice, the political environment being as toxic as it is.

How do you get decent people to run for office when N0 one defends them, their families and business’ ?

I can’t remember an election when there wasn’t a better alternative candidate on the ballot — a least a few times there was a MUCH better alternative candidate on the ballot.
