6 groups to receive cash from Women’s Fund
Tahoe Women’s Community Fund grant celebration is May 18.
This year’s recipients are:
- St. Joseph’s Community Land Trust — $10,000
- NAMI of El Dorado County — $5,500
- Between Horses and Humans — $4,500
- Juvenile Service Council — $3,000
- Tahoe Prosperity Center — $3,000
- Habitat for Humanity (EDC) — $3,000.
TWCF collected $29,000 is through annual memberships. Another $11,000 is in our endowment fund.
The celebration will be 6-9pm at Tahoe Beach Retreat in South Lake Tahoe. Tickets are $35, which includes dinner. Buy them online.
