Brown joins other governors backing Paris accord
By Kathleen Ronayne, AP
Three Democratic governors said Thursday they won’t let the U.S. back away from a commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, despite President Trump decision to withdraw from an international pact.
“This is an insane move by this president,” Gov. Jerry Brown said, blasting the decision as “deviant behavior from the highest office in the land.”
Brown joined Gov. Jay Inslee of Washington state and Gov. Andrew Cuomo of New York to form the U.S. Climate Alliance to uphold the Paris climate agreement, a pact involving nearly 200 nations aimed at slowing the warming of the planet.
Thankfully, some of our representatives are fighting back. I can usually tolerate stupid, dumb, inexperienced people who are voted into office – but this one just continues to make stupid decisions that have a huge impact on our country as well as showing the world our President is so ill-equipped to run America or collaborate with world leaders on serious matters that affect us all! Disney should start drafting cartoons about this moron, altho it is impossible to laugh at the damage he is doing.
Dump, Trump – the egomaniac who is so enamored by himself & undoing all good that has been done. Very sad for our country!
Irish–Perfectly stated.
