The U.S. Forest Service will continue its Meeks Canyon prescribed fire activity Monday.

The project would continue through the week as favorable weather permits.

Other fire management agencies both state and local are expected to conduct prescribed fire work during this period.

Residents and travelers can expect to see smoke from prescribed fire project areas.

You call this ‘management’! High wind advisory! Is anyone going to say anything? The signs say prescribed fire, don’t call in…just stand there and watch while we burn the place down! Who is watching the chicken coop? The Fox is and you’re all dinner! Life works in community. even with the trees…these crews cut everything down so it looks good to you but there is no life.
