Aramark in line to provide food to Reno schools

Washoe County School District staff wants to hire a new company to manage food services, ending a near decade relationship with multinational company Sodexo.
Aramark, which provides food service and management for about 500 school districts nationwide, was recommended by a committee of a parent, teacher, nutritionist, administrator and the finance office, said Gary Kraemer, the district’s chief financial officer.
