·      Physiatrist Gregory Burkard Jr. has joined Barton Health as an interventional pain and sports medicine physiatrist, which a physician that treats a variety of medical conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, bones, muscles, joints and more.

·      Douglas County Library in Minden will host South Lake Tahoe author JoAnn Conner on May 8 at 5:30pm. She will discuss her books and sign copies of “Heartwood” and “The Mountain.” The Minden Library is located at 1625 Library Lane.
