Speaking of the South Lake Tahoe City Council election — isn’t it about time for candidates to run for seats in this November Election to announce their candidacy(s)? I hope to see some fresh faces stepping up to lead our City – with fresh ideas and enthusiasm, as we step out of the swamp. This past year has been a testy waste of time.

I hope the City introduces a policy and/or ordinance that requires ALL Council members to take a specific course teaching The Brown Act and Parliamentery Procedure. Such a course should be required after election results and before new terms begin. Perhaps LTCC could offer such a course, taught by an expert in the field of government.
