I think it is a great idea to engage the community in our fire-risk issues, however I am really perplexed why there is virtually no decent notice about this meeting? It says on Lake Tahoe News that it published 7/23, and I just received my LTN online at 5:40am on 7/24 – the date of this public meeting. Do they think the public has no other obligations, commitments, etc.??????? Will Chief Meston wonder why attendance is minimal and think the community does not care? I care! But if you invite me to a public meeting – please give me more than 12-hours notice! Communications in the community is a life-line!
