Nifty 50 Trolley back on the streets of South Tahoe

trollyThe Nifty 50 Trolley begins its seasonal service on the South Shore on May 22.

This trolley that looks a bit like a San Francisco cable car on wheels operates from the South Y Transit Station to Tahoma via Highway 89 and Camp Richardson Resort. It will run through Sept. 6; then weekends only until Oct. 3.

Trolleys stop at various locations such as Camp Rich, Valhalla, Tallac Historic Site, Emerald Bay State Park as well as providing connecting service with the TART transit service in Tahoma.

    How come the trolley doesn’t sell advertising space on the side?

    Come on ,does trpa keep you from having a sign there too?
