Several Lake Tahoe Community College Fire Academy cadets have received scholarships from Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection District and the South Lake Tahoe Rotary Club.

Paul Butterweich earned a $500 scholarship from Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection District; Mark Lookerse, $500 scholarship from Tahoe Douglas; Jyota Smith-Howard, $500 scholarship from South Lake Tahoe Rotary; and Nick Giordano, $500 scholarship from South Lake Tahoe Rotary.
