Hundreds of Realtors will gather from across the globe on June 13-15 at the National Association of Realtors Resort and Second-Home Symposium at the Lake Tahoe Hyatt in Incline Village.

This networking event is for people who specialize in the resort, vacation and second-home markets.

Launched in Los Cabos, Mexico, in 2003, the NAR Resort and Second-Home Symposium has traveled to Cape Cod, Hawaii, Vail, and Naples. Now it’s Lake Tahoe’s turn.

This year’s theme is Elevate Your Business. Reps from 28 states and five countries will be at the lake.

Introduced in January 2006, the Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist Certification is a nationally-recognized certification awarded by the National Association of Realtors to real estate professionals who wish to demonstrate and promote – to consumers and their peers alike—their expertise in the varied specialty. The program focuses on developing the knowledge and skill base that real estate professionals need to specialize in buying, selling, or managing second-homes in a resort, recreational, and/or vacation destination and properties for investment, development or retirement.

Realtors are nothing short stealing crooks that can’t support themselves with out hard work.
The only thing they do steal from you with a little ink and your signature.

Worthless bunch slackers, eating toast with the housing crises still headed down.
    They call this a profession.

Awesome this is happening here in Tahoe. As we all
know, our town needs more families to move in, but most of us have jobs and survive here because of vacationers and second homeowners. I’m happy that realtors are developing their professional skills to best serve out of town buyers. Tahoe’s real estate is only valuable because of the demand from vacationers. More visitors means more jobs
