For one weekend this summer, the Village at Squaw Valley is going to become one of the funkiest places around Lake Tahoe.

Some of the most recognized jazz, blues and funk favorites of this era will perform at the annual Brews, Jazz & Funk Fest Aug. 14-15. from 2-8pm each day.

Continuous live music will be on two stages, with offerings of more than 20 breweries.

Admission is $5 and beers are $4. Proceeds from the event benefit the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe.
