El Dorado County bomb threat suspect in custody

A man from the Madera County community of Bass Lake has been arrested on suspicion of a making a bomb threat at a Walmart store in El Dorado County.
Nicholas Gregorio, 18, was taken into custody Thursday at a residence on Forni Road in Placerville.
The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Department was called to the Walmart store in Diamond Springs about 11am Tuesday. The bomb threat was written in ink on a surface in the men’s restroom, and store managers were evacuating the store when deputies arrived, according to a Sheriff’s Department news release.
