• What’s special about Homewood?: Beauty sets Homewood apart from other resorts. Riding the ridge above the base lodge may provide the illusion of skiing into the lake, given its proximity to Tahoe. Homewood sits a mere snowball’s throw from Tahoe’s shores.

• Directions: A northern turn at the Y in South Lake Tahoe will take a skier and boarder to Tahoe’s West Shore where Homewood’s base lies.
