Kubby taking down signs posted illegally

image_pdfimage_print

Dear All,

It appears that someone is illegally posting our signs. For the past week, we’ve taken down signs, only to find them posted again. Furthermore, someone is nailing our campaign signs to telephone poles, something I specifically warned against to everyone we gave signs. None of my volunteers has any idea who is doing this.

Please accept my apology for this ongoing issue. We will continue to do our best to identify and remove any signs that are illegally posted.

Steve Kubby, South Lake Tahoe

Ah come on man, ‘someone’!?! Take responsibility for your campaign and staffers.

Everyone cries in this town. No work, no jobs. Wah!!!!! The TRPA needs to have its reins tightened. You all gripe about them all year but when it comes to change you bury your heads in the sand, or should I say the sediment. Take a chance on Kubby or end up with more of the same with a Swanson, Curry or even a return of Davis. Anyone voting for these 3 should have their heads examined and deserve what they will get over the next 4 years – inexperience and self righteousness.

Outrageous to find that Alex Campbell was right… the illegal sign postings being blamed on avid supporters.

Kubby’s campaign has taken on a Terry Trupp theme. TRPA is settled law and we shouldn’t throw more scarce taxpayer dollars at the issue any more. Kubby can’t fulfill any campaign promises made on the issue, so let’s hear some ideas on current issues.

Steve If you have the time make an application to serve on the El Dorado Grand Jury.
I served 14 months,it is amazing what you learn and never forget about politics.

This guy could be one of the best scam artists around if he gets elected. Its like an old movie where he comes to a town and convinces the citizenry that he can make it rain and end their drought or that his snake oil will cure all. Is this town stupid enough to actually/possibly elect this guy?

    Bob,

Your comments are unwarrented. I am not inexperienced or self righteous. Do your homework before commenting.

    Kubby,

Come on man, Do you actually believe that you can tell the general public that “some one is illegally posting your signs.” Are you kidding, so some one is taking the time to have your signs designed and printed and then goes out to post them illegally. Taking some responsibility for your actions, how do you take them down and magically, they re-appear. I wonder why the only business I seem to see your signs in front of is the marijuana collective and on public property the telephone polls. I wonder how long it will take you to move to another City if you should lose this election.

Joy, but you are in bed with Kathay Lovell and with the McCarthy’s…the same people who gave Grego over $10k. You are part of the old political machine this town needs to get rid of of. You lost my vote.

    Bob,

Im sorry that Tom Davis has upset you, he would be glad to talk out your issues over lunch, but insulting voters by telling them to have their heads examined is pure hate speech and insulting. Im sorry you are so bitter that you must take your frustrations out on those like Davis and Curry who only want to help this community.

JT, never apologize to an anonymous poster There is no credibility to someone who doesn’t identify themselves regardless what they say.
