Opinion: Swanson will move South Tahoe forward
To the community,
This letter will provide insight into Angela Swanson’s leadership skills and what she will bring to the SLT council. Her day job is to write and assist with the administration of major infrastructure grants. While on the school board she was able to acquire over $10,000,000 in state funding for facilities at the LTUSD.
She has the acumen to work with local, state, and federal leaders.
During her tenure at LTUSD, the board relied on Angela to provide us with both the legal and the practical information that we required.
Now, more than ever, South Lake Tahoe needs Angela Swanson’s background and communication skills that will help repair many of the troubles that our city is going through. She understands the legal processes that are required to avoid having construction stop abruptly and leave our town with long stalled projects.
Angela Swanson is right the person to move our city forward.
Larry Green, South Lake Tahoe
So far so good, reads like a winner.
PS By chance !! did Tom Davis apply for unemployment insurance???
Angela Swanson wanted to know from Hallen how people could trust her to enforce the rules of the city when her campaign signs are placed illegally. If you want to have another Council member wasting the city’s time with the blame game then vote Swanson.
As well intended as all the candidates are, Angela can navigate the waters to implement the much needed changes we need here. Well intentions can only be moved forward if you understand where all the pitfalls are.

Angela will find money where others have not. She has the past to prove it. My vote is for Swanson and Jones.
She is not to be trusted to serve out her term, just look at school board election when she won then quit. She has good style but no substance.
When the economy collapsed she had put her own work aside and was finding grants for our own school district. She had to return to work to earn a living. She still continued to help the schools get funding.
They call it micro management when they don,t like that style, and call it the other way when they think like you PT. Grant money is not a free ride and never will be.
