Musical tribute to veterans by students

A Veterans Day Musical Salute by the Lake Tahoe Unified School District Performing Arts Department will be Nov. 10 at 7pm at South Tahoe Middle School multipurpose room.

It is free.

It is a musical tribute to all veterans. Nearly 350 students in the sixth-12th grade bands, orchestras and choirs will perform an hourlong concert of patriotic music.

Our community is so fortunate to have this program in our schools. Dedicated teachers, talented kids, yhis is a wonderful way to spend a family evening and show your support for our Veterans.

AMEN! We went last year and it was energetic and awesome! At some places there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. They really did honor veterans who were right there, had them stand and show themselves. it was a very touching event and one not to be missed.
