Votes trickle in with no change to S. Tahoe election results

More votes have been counted affecting the South Lake Tahoe City Council, but not who the three finalists are.

As of Nov. 9 at 2pm:

• Claire Fortier, 1,778 votes, 17.04 percent

• Tom Davis, 1,530 votes, 14.66 percent

• Angela Swanson, 1,330 votes, 12.75 percent

• Alice Jones, 1,203 votes, 11.53 percent

• Joy Curry, 1,193 votes, 11.43 percent

• Elizabeth Hallen, 1,083 votes, 10.38 percent

• Steve Cubby, 1,072 votes, 10.27 percent

• Adrian Gooch, 612 votes, 5.87 percent

• Georg May, 267 votes, 2.56 percent

• Doug Cichowicz, 135 votes, 1.29 percent.

Measure E, the city initiative to change the business license fee, was defeated by 50 votes.
