Nancy Gibson is returning to the basin as forest supervisor for the Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit. She was deputy forest supervisor several years ago.

Second in charge will be Jeff Marsolais.

The start date for both has not been released.

For the last three years, Gibson has been deputy forest supervisor on the Six Rivers National Forest. She has also worked in the Klamath and Mendocino national forests.

Marsolais has been acting forest supervisor for LTBMU since November. He came from the Inyo National Forest.
