weatherA winter weather advisory in effect from midnight tonight to noon Wednesday.

The National Weather Service in Reno is calling for snow to begin late tonight near the Sierra crest and spread into the Lake Tahoe Basin early Wednesday morning.

Expect 6 to 12 inches above 7,000 feet, with 2 to 6 inches at lake level.

Slick roads and poor visibility are likely during the Wednesday morning commute in the basin and over the passes.

    Ride on !
