Man arrested in Incline hit-and-run incident

Update at 2:34 p.m.: The driver has been identified as 23-year-old California resident Luke Craig.

Detectives interviewed and subsequently placed Luke Craig under arrest for attempted murder, battery with a deadly weapon, and hit and run causing injury – all felony charges. Craig was transported to the Washoe County Detention Facility, where he was booked without incident. Luke Craig’s bail is set at $88,000.

A fight early this morning in Incline Village involved about 20 people, some of whom were throwing glass bottles, the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office reports.

    So long ago, Tahoe never had this type of behavior, now it seems at any given time people are continuing to turn Tahoe into your everyday, every other place, rather than the quit mountain community of old.
    I like the 70’s, Tahoe was awesome and people were carefree… The 60’s wern’t so bad either, just the city had not been too organized yet and the winter was a bit too hard. By the 80’s too many people were getting to know this place and it began to become how it is today. Ohh well, I got pictures and memories and still a few spots the flatlanders DON’T know about!
