• Liza Minnelli emptied her Lake Tahoe home and hauled her possessions to the Hamptons for a yard sale June 11. The New York Post reports the singer sold lampshades, wine glasses, worn dance shoes — and a set of epaulets given to her by Michael Jackson.
• Bill Crawford, who never supported the South Lake Tahoe Ice Arena being built, finally got his name removed from the plaque – something he has been trying to do since the day he first learned his name was on it.

• Squaw Valley will not offer mountain biking this summer due to the significant depth of the spring snowpack – more than 14 feet in mid-June.
