Today while waiting for the endless backup from Al Tahoe to Hwy 50 I noticed that the two workers that were directing traffic had absolutly no idea how poor of a job they were doing. They managed to let the hwy 50 traffic move for 20 or more minutes, even when there wasnt any cars coming and theose of us waiting to turn onto hwy 50 sat and sat and sat. A police officer noticed the problem and came over to tell the road workers that they needed to let the cross traffic move. They were absolutly rude and certainly not paying attention to the traffic and they sure did make alot of drivers mad. The police need to monitor these interections better and be the ones to help move traffic along, not the hart hats that cant seem to get it!!!
