Just what was it judged on ?? Who was the Judge ? Tony O’Rourke !!!??
South Lake Tahoe also won the ex-homeowner award for…
‘Walk Away and Don’t Look Back’
Which is making SLT a contender for the
‘Most Home Value Lost Award’
Do you people read? The award is from Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada.
It’s a bunch of accountants.
It’s for how well the document is put together.
Just another example of where the cuts should have come from…don’t know of any other departments within the city that have the time to apply for nonsensical awards. Many media agencies and public persons can never get a factual or timely response from the finance department.
Remember when John Upton was SLT treasure.
No doubt he qualified for membership in the GFOA of the United States and Canada.
Who had the guts to submit the budget to the GFOA? Who the heck knew and sugested the submission? OMG
