Harveys installing heated sidewalks

Getting into Harveys at Stateline has been a bit difficult lately because of the work out front.

The sidewalk project is expected to be finished Oct. 26. The walkway will be heated so the ice and snow melt faster than the natural way of letting Mother Nature take care of it.

The path on the other side of Highway 50 in front of Harrah’s Lake Tahoe already has the snowmelt system below the concrete.
