Keeping with tradition, Boreal will be the first Tahoe area ski resort to open.

It will be open today from 3-8pm and Oct. 29 from 9am-2pm.

Operations are on a day-to-day basis based on how conditions are.

Boreal will operate the Nugget chairlift. This provides access to one run that has a terrain park with a handful of features.

Lift tickets are $15.
