Easy pickin’s. There are only two ways to get in or out of town. Why not just install an electronic gate and force everyone to submit to a breathalyzer test coming and going?
Hope they are all tourists. Just today some vacation rental jerk staying down the street from me pulled up behind another car at a stop sign in our neighborhood. Instantly blew his horn and then laid rubber as he sped down the street to his rental. Just another reason to ban vacation rentals in our neighborhoods.
Oh how I agree Steven. I am sick of the people who have no respect for us who live here. Remember to call the police when you feel that your privacy is being violated.
SLT never intended to enforce the VRO regarding noise and disturbances in our neighborhood. Maybe too much money to be made by our elected leaders. They also never made a real effort to enforce collection of TOT taxes and so our citizens and city suffers by their neglect and perfidiousness.
Everyone can agree on the rentals in residential neighborhoods, what a nuisance they are!
Careaboutthecommunity, apparently the citizens agree but, as usual, the ones who profit on the lack of enforcement do not agree enough to actually ensure that the law is followed. Of course, in public, they will talk a good game, but when the feet hit the street, it is business as usual. This lack of enforcement has cost the city a significant amount of revenue that they could use right now.
