Tahoe Tails — Adoptable Pets in South Lake Tahoe

Shelby is a special kitty – only 6 months old, she came to the shelter as a stray with a damaged eye.

When she was spayed, her eye was removed and she’s much happier, purring all the time. Shelby gets along with just about everyone, and she gets around just fine despite her missing eye.

Shelby is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated.

She is at the El Dorado County Animal Services shelter in Meyers, along with many other dogs and cats who are waiting for their new homes.

Call (530) 573.7925 for directions, hours, and other information on adopting a pet.

For spay-neuter assistance for South Tahoe residents, go online.
