Bob Hart is the latest winner of Lake Tahoe News’ Random Acts of Kindness promotion.
His ability to teach his neighbor how to split her own wood last summer means the utility bills are much less this winter. Bob will be receiving a gift basket from Heart Rock Herb & Spice Co.

Kae, please nominate Kirsten Duane for this award. Our friend slipped in her icy driveway and broke her tib/fib Friday night and Kirsten has been in the ER with her all weekend, also taking care of her dog and her home. As if that wasn’t enough, in the midst of all of it our friend was to have a birthday party for me at her house and instead of allowing the party to be cancelled, Kirsten offered to hold it at her house and even managed to get her house in order and a cake together while running in and out of the hospital. What a great, selfless friend! Thanks Kirsten!
